With regret i'm selling my beloved RS Clio.
Working 70+hrs per week and running 2 cars is pretty pointless so the weekend toy must go. I'd prefer to keep the Clio and sell my Mk5 Golf but my other half would have something to say about that
Basics:
2001 Y 2.0 16v Renaultsport Clio 172 Ph1.
Titanium Silver
96k with FSH inc the very important belts change @ 78k!
Reciepts for over £5k from over the last 6 years.
Just flew through its MOT so has a full 12 months.
Road Tax runs out 31.7.10.
Half leather/Alcantara interior with Renaultsport embroidered seats.
HPI clear!
V5 present with 1 key and fob.
Aftermarket Alarm/immobiliser. (Laserline iirc, Thatcham approved!)
CAR STARTS 1ST TIME EVERY TIME, DRIVES PERFECTLY TOO
Engine is VERY strong and healthy!
I bought the car back in March from a workmate who owned the car for 6years. Took ALOT of persuading/niggling/pestering for him to part with it!
Since then i have changed jobs and doing roughly 200 miles a week commuting, and have a young family so decided to buy the Golf.
To be honest, i don't want to sell the Clio but makes more sense having the £££ in the bank than a car lying outside being used once a fortnight.
I have been a member on www.cliosport.net for over 3years and owned 5 RS Clio's over that period, this has to be the best of the bunch by a country mile.
I've recently fitted a few new parts that were worn.
2 Michelin Pilot Exalto 2's on the rear.
Engine mounts
Spax adjustable shocks and Spax springs.
Couple of minor faults as you'd imagine on a 10 year old car:
Pin sized hole in the sump (i have a new sump and sump gasket which will be included in the sale.)
2 front tyres could do with being replaced in the next 1000 miles.
F/N/S fog light is smashed but still works.
Front bumper has been scratched by a kids bike pedal.
Bootlid has a small dent which has never bothered me.
I would rectify these faults but working 70+hrs doesn't help matters, price has been adjusted accordingly!
The car is totally standard apart from the suspension upgrade, right down to the unmarked original stereo/multi-changer.
Sorry for ranting on lol.

Car is located in Balornock, North Glasgow and can be viewed weekdays after 7pm or anytime at the weekend (work dependant).
