My rev counters stopped working

my rev counter stopped workin yesterday so me been me i tried to fix it as i am quite handy with fixing things so i stripped my clocks out and openend up the workings and dropped the little pin that holds the little cogs in and lost it, so does anyone no if you can bye the working cos i dont fancy buyin news clocks from renault as there £475 and mine been a rsi there's not many in scrap yards.
i no the clocks from the 1.2 , 1.4 and normal 1.6's dont fit due to the mph top speed or summet but unsure about the 172 clocks anyone any ideas cos im stressin out over it, so id be very greatful for any advice :S

£475, why does it surprise me. Surley you could just buy a set of clocks of another clio and use the rev counter set up and fit it to the existing cars mph/mileage clock, one of them must be the same.... Might help if you took a pic and asked people to match it theirs.

I think the only thing you can do really is look at a scrappy mate

cheers guys someone has got in touch with me from renault and told me the 172 clocks will fit just need resetting so ive managed to find some in a scrappy and the mechanic sed he'll do it me back hand for a fiver so thats saved me some cash
