My T350c (hopefully)

  Engles Mummy
That yellow one looks lovey, not sure if I could live with that colour though.

But as for the exhaust upgrade, now that I would be interested in!

Spec -

Tvr 350c 05 reg, 5k miles, 1 owner, upgraded sound system, warranty and various other goodies.

love the colour, subtle but still has depth...

Its the noise that comes out of those things that most special for me, well after the styling.

  Inferno 182 w/ Recaros ;)
Is it a category D? I've been in a Tamora which is basically the same thing, it had a sports exhaust. Very good. The aural sensation is out of this world.

Just be very very careful. And times that by 10 in the wet.

I don't know how much driven experience you have but I would suggest a driving course at an airfield.

Fair play to you for having that at 20. I'm hoping to get something pretty decent once I manage to buy a few houses.

No it's not a Cat D.

To be honest I'm not that worried about the power, because I know my limits & I’m not a dangerous driver. My biggest concern is reliability as I need a car 24/7, but we'll take a gamble and see how it goes.

I'm gonna go to a few of those "know your limits day" and see what the tvr can actually do. I've calmed down a lot since the cup, as the cars I'm driving now are very expensive & very fast, so death is always a certainty if I crash.

  Golf R soon...
If I were getting a t350 I would get it in these colours:

speaking of which, make sure any girls that get in have a spare pair of paints, cause a) it'll either snap there knicker elastic at 100 paces or b) they'll s**t themselves when u put your foot down!

To be honest i dont need a P reg Airfix model to pull a girl, but each to their own.

But anway Subway, hope it all goes well dude, Fair play to yo working your arse off to pay for it, how old are you 20?

Cool car Subway, look forward to seeing pics and hearing your comments on it :)

I have been thinking of getting one when I finally get bored of the V6, although with me being alot older than you, it takes me a lot longer to make up my mind, lol...plus I still love the Vee after 3
years of ownership.

TVR 350's are awesome cars, 0-100 5s faster than the vee, nice ;)
although I do hear alot about engine problems, rebuilds and breakdown and so on, and huge servicing bills?

Have fun mate, I'm SURE you will.....lol

Well done dude,

looks really good and a nice colour.

I really wanted a Cerbera (still do) before I got the Z3 but I couldnt find a good one in yellow  Im still looking :)

Well done again

Cheers all for the comments.

Insurance shouldn't be a major problem, due to my Boss putting me on his fleet insurance (20+ cars) so I'd imagine it would be around the 1-2k mark.

SimonV6 - I'm going to miss the v6, but I'm in serious need of some more power and I didn't fancy chucking a few bob on the vee to get to where I wanted it to be.

As for reliability, the new tvr's (05+) were made to be much stronger and had a real good doing over to make sure nothing vital goes wrong with them. The owner of the garage said you may get the odd window refusing to go down but the engine & main parts are very unlikely to falter. In cold weather got to leave it for a good 15-20mins to warm up (no cold start) but apart from that he said once it’s fully warmed up you can do what you want. Can’t wait for the summer, going to be some serious miles to put on it!

Servicing is every 6k miles, cost £450-900 (twice a year for me then)

Comes with warranty, need to find out what exactly that will cover. Didn’t realise though the tvr has only 5 forward gears!

I'll hopefully be taking it on track at FCS, just got to wait for someone to drop out ;)

lol, few pointers for you...

1) take a look at your clio, f**k me i bet that has more plastic in it then my tvr!

2) use it to pull birds, my mrs has never even been out in yet! and never even knew i had it till 2 months down the line

3) a P reg yes it is, but with a tvr you go on the mechanicals rather than the age, i know of 03 cerbs that are fucked - also the "P reg" is worth so much more than you clio (and yes i did read the thread where you spent so much on it... wish it was mine..... if i was stevie wonder....

4) did i forget to mention also that it is running on custom made, race prep'd and corner weighted nitrons? has racing high lift cams, racing exhaust, gas flowed head, new moded tuscan racer diff and tuscan racer drive shafts, Emerald ECU with custom map....

5) oh yeah did i also forget to mention that it will do 0-60 in 3.9, 0-100 in 8.9? and over 170?

6) and finally, just like subway i did not get this car bought for me, i worked my ass of it for it 21. As much as every jealous person thinks it was....

but again i still wish i had your clio at 21 instead, one day one day....

wow servicing is expensive!! lol

guessing you dont do many miles??

I cover about 30 miles Monday - Friday. I rarely have time to drive during the week to drive as it's an early start & a late end, by the time I get off the train I'm tired and just want to go to bed.

Weekends I'll cover 0-200miles depending on whats going on.

ivegota16v - Well said, I've been wanting to scream that out load for a long time now.

What will you have to look forward to in the way of cars when you get older?

All this at such a young age...

Its nice, but i think its just daft?

  No more clio's for me!

to true mate!!

we shall have to take them both out for run!

there are lots of tvr event like thunder in london, track days at silverstone etc etc

we did a lemans trip last year which was tops, me in the cerb, my bro in his tuscan and a mate in an z3 m coupe!

fun fun fun!

also if you need to know where to get parts, servicing at under a 1k for the 12kmiler i can recommend some very very good places, its a bit of trek for you but there very good and half main dealer prices!!! but you cant beat Fernhurst in surrey for the quality work, but you do pay for it!

one other thing is be very carefull of the spiders, mine werent on in my pics due to getting refurbed, then buckle very easily and are super rare at the minute!!

oh, and the exhaust you want to get is a JP racing one, sounds ammmmmmmmmmazzzinngggg

bubbles - i know were your coming from, as i have no idea what to get next !!

but it just has to be done - to own a car sooo fast at such an age is FANNNNTTAASSTTTIICCC nothing feels quite like it!! id much rather have fun in it 24 (as i am now) then wait till you have the kids, and be 40+ with the wife moaning etc etc!!

Its ok, he hasnt got any debt, he's made his money by selling cat D cars to people wrongly advertised for more than they're worth.

Boss' fleet insurance... is his Dad his boss now?

And i never knew they had stock brokers in sports world...

Anyways, good luck with the new car, im sure you'll love it :)

But you enjoy your cars... go out and live with them, enjoy the experience

All subway seems to do is enjoy boasting about it on the forum?

We see Adam buy the car, do it up (in most cases) and sell it for more than its worth ;)

Pmsl at the level of jealousy that's going on from some people on here. Grow up, just because he's got a bigger toy than some of you. lol.

Subway thats a truly amazing car, must be nice to step up into a proper sports car. As a fellow rwd owner I share your sentiments about not being able to wait for the summer. Makes driving around in the wet like a wimp well worth it. Enjoy!!
