My very wet British GT session @ Oulton Park.

So a very wet day @ Oulton Park wasn't intending to go but I decided i should about 5 hours before packed my kit and off I went. I've also realised I need a new lens/lenses as mine are what I'd now consider s**te!

Now saving for a 70-200 2.8 after playing about with 'RedSquare Images' kit and having a good chat.

Sigma 70-300 the bag of shite stuck between 200-300 for half of the day! Going to invest in some new glass before LeMans!

I had an equally wet weekend at Lydden Hill in Kent Sunday and Monday watching the Rallycross Championship, worth it though with the type of pictures you can achieve in the wet conditions. I'll post them up if I get the chance.

they werent setup right i feel, however all weekend they weren't on the pace of the audi and z4.

the aston had great one lap pace but faded heavily. the RSRs and 458s ran solid pace if I'm honest. matched eachother tit for tat. It was soaking, the RSRs were easily the quickest through druids. Z4 was fantastic though. datsuns will be ALOT quicker with development.

Was it busy? We drove straight past there on the way to Birchdown on Monday - no queues or anything. Would have popped in on the way back, but at £21 on-the-gate pricing - that was a tad much for the hour or two that would have been left.
