Great day organised by Donny :approve:

Nice to meet everyone on the day, really happy with my results given that the car is 5yrs old and currently sitting happy on 74k miles, it made 169.6bhp at the fly, 151.2lb/ft torque and 144.4bhp at the wheels.

Watch that splitter!! lol

Had to put it on block of wood to get it on the rollers...otherwise it was sitting on the bumper. lol

Sorry if i didn't get everyone...my bloody hands where freezing!! lol

P.S - My seat felt really uncomfortable on the way home - thanks Donny! ....lol

I've just checked my post when I got home. My old insurance company have finally sent me through over a grand they owed me for cancelling with them. So I might be getting new cobras quicker than I thought...

these are the figures I got when mine was rollin roaded, what do they all mean I know most but what is it at the fly?

norm power.............. 177,5 BHP to DIN 70020
engine output........... 173,5 BHP
wheel output............ 133,0 BHP
drag output.............. 40,5 BHP

max power at 104mph or 6690rpm

Torque 144 lbf-ft

Not to worry...think the funniest part was me thinking everyone was gonna turn up nearer to 09:45 than 09:30, and getting a phone call of Kully asking where was I!!!

Astra was not running right. 2.0 16v calibra turbo in an astra and it ran around 193bhp I beleive.

Yep...standard slightly blowing exhaust, so happy with the results

Maybe organise a visit back again was an exhaust is fitted in the new year!

just encase anyone wondered, my car as standard is quoted as 174bhp and around 169lbft torque, so with a de-cat, miltek cat back and carbonio intake im relativley happy with the increase in torque and bhp.

after today, ive decided its going to HAVE to be supercharged before xmas hehe

The event was only as good as the people who turned up, so big thanks to everyone who didn't pay a deposit, but still turned up on the day as well as those who'd paid there deposit in advance. There were 14 cars running (would have been unlucky 13 until ChrisK's mate Ash turned up with his Astra) I was buzzing with the 'best' cup until ChrisK's went on the roller...that is a minter Chris, keep it (or sell it to me! :rasp

Thanks to everyone who helped make the day the way it turned out (although I wasn't planning on buying anything in Cobra! - So some Daytona's and subframes on my Xmas list!)

i was just curious with the 6bhp claim from btb? dans got a decat as well so 176bhp seems quite low? i now 182's dont run exactly at 182 but i thought it wud hav been higher?

Dont forget a RR only measures PEAK bhp.

He may have more power somewhere lower down in the rev range, you will only know this by overlaying two graphs (one from a modded 182 and one from a standard 182)
