My West Mids RR day at Vauxsport Pics (56k no no)

  M135i
looks like a good day guys. im having mine rr'd at WRC at silverstone in two weeks time, will be good to see how it comepares.

just a little question, how come the cars with more bhp at the fly make less bhp ATW than those with less bhp at the fly? compare MikeA's car and Dan Page's car.

The guy who was at the RR said about the Air Con meaning a slight loss in power, but not much compared to the Cups without CC.

I was wondering the same about fly/at the wheels thing.

From what I have read about the rolling road flywheel figures they are worked out using coastdown and the wheel figures - so are just estimates.

I am getting mine ran on Saturday, so like wise the comparisons will be good.

The guy at the rolling road also thought that some clios had a lighter flywheel from the factory than some others.

This would also result in more power at the wheels apparently

great minds think alike ay!

if the fly power was measured on coastdown, would heavier/lighter wheels influence the end result? inertia etc?

Dan hasn't got the new one yet (IIRC). Think thats in the pipeline, so good to use as a benchmark.

Yep...standard slightly blowing exhaust, so happy with the results :D

Maybe organise a visit back again was an exhaust is fitted in the new year!

^^I'll be up for a revisit once I've had inlet manifold matching and a remap done.

Its not exactly local for me...but I had an awesome drive back today on the A roads, so f**k it! Four wheel drifts on one slippery uphill/twisty section

Good meet btw Donny :D Nice to put some names to faces

Ali, went to RE in Bury when the car had 8,500 miles on it, produced 144.6 ATW...now getting 150.9 (50,000 miles more have passed tho') but all RRs are different. People who have tried them in the past have criticised how accurate they are...they are better than Aldon who were congratulating people who owned 182s for getting 120Bhp ATW!!!
