mystery fault. please have a l00k!!!

  E92 330
ive recently had all four injectors replaced but stil get the coily spring appearing when driving. The spring stays lit when starting, if when driving i put the accelerator flat to the floor then release the light goes off for about a second, during this time if i place the accelerator to the floor again it comes out of limp mode and the spring stays off until i release the accelerator again.

does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be?

ive heard that the the coily spring being lit can mean water mixing with diesel if this is the case, could it be the headgasket going?

does anyone have any other symptoms of the headgasket going?

Best thing to do would be to get it on renaults diagnostic kit. who replaced the injectors?

  Clio Cup
doesnt the coil symbol mean there is something wrong with the coil? being a diesel u have....is it in the manual, the meaning of what the symbol is?

renault fitted the injectors, its been to them twice since, paid them £1300 for this job its stil not right!!

its been on their diag kit already, rung up and asked to spk to the manager and he said hed have a look but they havent sorted it the last 3 times theyve had it.

Headgasget going shows up as mayonaise in the coolent cap.

You need to get the car on the Renault clip computer see what the error code its throwing up is.

fault codes are

1. DF071 track 1 pedal sensor circuit
2. DF027 solenoid valve circuit

what mayonaise in the coolant cap???

Doesn't matter you on't have a headgasget I've wrote the repies in your other thread bust basically

For the DF027 code

Check the condition and connection of the 5 track EGR solenoid valve connector (on the back of the engine on the EGR valev thingie near the turbo.) and repair it if necessary.

Check the condition of the 48 track computer connector B and repair if necessary.

Measure the resistance between track 1 and 5 of the EGR solenoid valve,if it is not approximately 8 Ω ± 0.5 Ω at 25 deg replace the solenoid valve (or clean if possible)

Check the insulation, continuity and absence of interference resistance of the connections:
+after ignition track 1 EGR solenoid valve
computer connector B track L3 track 5 EGR solenoid valve

For the 71 fault

Be aware that state 5.DEF may be present after sports style driving, when the brake pedal and accelerator pedal are depressed at the same time (heel and toe).

Check the connections

Disconnect connector A from the computer and the connector from the pedal potentiometer and test the insulation between the two lines:

Computer connector A track H2 track F3 computer connector A

Sounds like you've got a wiring prblem with thsoe two errors although you might just by change have both a faulty pedal and athe EGR valve is block up (they do if you don't drive hard)
