"N" wifi info

  172 cup TT
Im buying a new router for our 20mg virgin BB... seen one which uses the "n" signal.. Both my house mates have the lesser "G" rated usb network adapters on their PCs... would they still pick up the signal from the wireless router even though its transmitting an "N" signal?... Im going to use the free "N" dongle thingie you get with it...

Any recomendations on good ones too if poss...

ah thx foxy, gotcha... My main concern was, if we were all using it at the same time would that pose problems?... the router would need to send out "G" AND "N" signals at the same time... or is that my silly logic?

If you have an N router it will switch to the highest speed any device is connected to.

So if you have an N laptop a G Laptop and a B laptop the router can only broadcast 802.11b

If all devices connected are N then it will be N speed.

etc etc.
