N00b iPad browser question..

Sorry for what is probably an obvious question but i'm crap with technology.

How can I get the iPad to browser the internet as a desktop computer? It's annoying that a lot of sites default to the mobile site..

Is there a different browser available that you can set it to always work as a desktop?

Im not sure whether you can default them to desktop, but the google chrome app is far better to Safari IMO

On Chrome you can select 'request desktop site' works for most sites.

Mercury is pretty good. It allows you to spoof as pretty as much any browser in the settings.

It also has some pretty awesome and customisable gestures.

Chrome uses desktop a lot more.
