Afternoon all
First of all, I'm doogz, hi!
Right, down to business,
a few months back, i bought myself a 96 JDM Impreza STI, and have since spend over 2 grand putting coilovers, new eagle F1's and a new clutch in it. Got it back from the garage on friday last week, and brought it into work on monday. Went back outside on monday night and it was gone. Stolen.
It's fair to assume from all the nice parts that were on it, that it'll now be in bits in a chop shop somewhere (although i'm guarantee'd it's not one of the japanese ones)
So, i need a new car. Also, my girlfriend and i just bought a kind of equestrian farm, with some land etc, which is a bit further away from my work, so ideally something that does a bit more mpg than the impreza would be nice. Also, something that's not too stiff would be nice, the road up to the new place is good, but not brilliant.
So!
My cousin jill, is selling her 182, and i'm thinking about buying it, as its a nice compromise between economy and fun, and leaves me some spare change everymonth to finish my hillclimb 106, which is still an utter riot!

The tyres she just had put on it aren't Michelins, which is a bit ghey, they are Kumho Ecsta's, still decent tyres. Other than that, it looks to be in pretty good nick.
Is there anything in particular i need to be looking for though, any particular reknowned failures or faults with these cars?
I've been told i can have it for 5.5k Do you think that's a fair price for the car, haven't really spent much time comparing it against others on autotrader/pistonheads.
