Been having a look/think about fixed bucket; specifically, Recaro Pole Postions
I've had a bit of a search around the site and got bit of an idea, but have a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can answer
The difference between the Pole Position FIA and ABE? Other than the ABE having TUV/ABE approval for certain cars, are there any physical differences between the two?
The shell dimensions, etc all seem identical; the only difference I can see listed being that the ABE version has something difference for 3 point belts?
And here's the possible facepalm question; access the rear seats? Is there a solution that allows access to the rear seats with fixed buckets such as the pole positions?
I've seen the tilting frames, but I don't think I've seen them used on the Recaro's...
The rears will be removed eventually, but for the remainder of this year at least, I need them! I'd preferably go for fixed buckets over reclining sports seats, but if there's no way to get into the rear I may need to have a re-think... :dapprove:
