Few Q's...Im looking at some coilovers (pikey rokkr) and im very confused with everything.
firstly where is the part i have to measure eg the 52/58 to see if they fit ?
Wtf are camber bolts, will i need them with coilies ?
I have 172 alloys to put on will they need spacers with coilies?
Are springs a no no ?

Appreciate any help, if someone wants they can simplify everything for me, i have googled but no luck, sorry for being thick.

the 52/58 is the mm the distance is between the front strut bolts, (behind the hub)
lowering your car can cause camber, i.e wheel leaning out at the top (possitive camber) or leaning out at the bottom (negitive camber- this is what you ideally want tbh). So to sort this out you change the top bolt in your shocks with a camber bolt which can alter the movement on the front wheels to straighten them out. these are £40 from k-tec.

regards to your alloys can depend on how low you go..best thing to do is trail n error, once the coilovers are on, it will either rub or it wont, if it does some small spacers should do the trick, these are avalible from eibach, fk automotive. go for a good make as the wheels are the things on the ground moving!

Oh and springs are fine if you dont go to low, i.e eibach do a sportline for the non sports at £140ish new and lower around 40-45mm, i have these on mine and im impressed, no need for spacers or camber bolts, if you want to go lower you'll have to look into replacing your shocks for shorter ones. By the way if you go for the coilovers, you'll also need to check you wheel alignment at a garage, they can set up your camber bolts too!

Thankyou makes a LOT more sense now decisions springs or coilovers, i want stiff suspension really dont i ?

depends, you only have a 1.2 might as well keep it comfortable, cant see it going fast enough to need uber stiff suspension
