n73 data issue

Anyone able to help me on this one...

Every 15 minuts for some reason my phone is sending out a signal of 1kb packet data that lasts 6 seconds.

under the call log part it goes like this...

Orange GPRS WAP

Directn: Out
Type: Pack
Suration 00:00:06
sent: 0kb
recvd: 1kb

I have only just noticed it but my log is full of them and its annoying me now as I cant find a way to staop it. changed package datat to "when needed" and I'm running the latest firmware. I wondered why i kept getting charged by orange for data usage I had never used, think I know why now

nope, dont have my email account set up on it. whats worse i decided to reinstall the firmware and now it seems stuck halfway through. This doesnt look good

the n73 is always connected to data thats why, they all do it (well all orange definitely do), i've spoken to orange about it and its a feature of the n73 they tell me, whenever i end a call it comes up that i am connected to data again.

nothing to worry about.

my latest one did this when i got it.
try this:

*settings
*connection
*packet data
*packet data conn.
*change to when needed

nah, it wasnt that issue, got rid of that which is fine, i managed to reinstall the firmware and now it has stopped. must have been an app i installed or something

done all that and it still does it, have given up now, had it 12 months and tried to stop it for the first few months, now i just see it as a 'feature'

i love the orange firmware though, had no problems whatsoever whereas loads of people seem to have problems with n73's, so if it ain't broke........

The data thing doesn't bother me as it doesn't cost me anything.

I was just going to ask about this. Mines just started doing it:S

I'm on o2. I got off the phone & it said 'packet data connection enabled'
If it's nothing to worry about, i'll leave it.
