Nakamichi CD-45z

I just fitted the Nakamichi CD-45z. I am not expert on the ICE stuffs, but I know Nakamichi is famous. I like neat, simple.
Cost me 88.00GBP included installation + the drawer type adapter.
I think this product is extremely old (can go to museum) and probably the cheapest Nakamichi product in the market.

I think it is good. Anyone tried this before?

LOL..just googled searched it and it looks ancient :rasp:

probably isnt bad though and for that price you cant complain

-drools at nakamichi- I used to work in Hi-Fi retail (not your comet and currys crap, I mean high end equipment such as Naim, Meridian, Cyrus etc) and one of the very best sounds I ever heard was a Nakamichi cassette deck!

nakamichi are awesome, i really like how understated they are. if i was going to change the head on mine it is the only thing i'd put in there.

LOVED my old nakamichi! It was simply stunning the sound from it! Yes looks naff but anyone who commented always shut up once they listened to it!

^ That's the old Nak I had, was an astounding bit of kit. Had the 24-bit breakout too which made an enormous difference. Best near-4 figure sum I ever spent on a car stereo. Coupled with my JL W6 and XRs there was nothing like it.

Crazy Clio: yeh was featured mate!

Mike_182: i had my cd400 with a 13W6 and XR 3 ways, was an awesome sound!
