Need abit of help here please, once again!

Right my subwoofer (sony xplod 1300w) keeps cutting out.. it's getting more and more frequent. It's got a 1000w amp (Sub zero ice) powering it and i've also got a 10 gauge wiring kit too.. Is the amp too much or...? stuuuuck

amp to much power for sub tbh n sony subs nt that good they die alot well both mine did n ppl i no that had them they did aswell
