Need Advice!!!

  Civic Type S GT
Hi guys! I need to lower my 182 and hopefully soon. Theres so many different types of springs and things at for instance demon-tweeks, but question is whats more recommended, lowering springs or coilovers? Also what awesome brake discs and pads are out there!?

if you don't want to spend ££££ get eibach sportlines very good springs. if you want coilvers they would cost over £700 for a good set. and disc and pads brembo hc and ferodo ds2500

Eibach Sportslines will lower around 30mm once settled, perfect IMO for road use. Excellent fast road set up and once your original shocks have worn then go for KONI's. I had coilovers on my car and took them off as they are overkill for road use and need specialist set up and with such a variety of road conditions I doubt you will ever find the correct one without spending £££'s.
Original brakes are more than upto the job, but I upgraded to EBC Greenstuff which gave an improvement.

Greenstuff are an ok pad. They'll last forever. I just swapped mine out after ~20,000 miles and they still had loads of meat on them. However, they fade very quickly if you really lean on them. Definitely not suitable for track IMO. Good for medium road use though.

Greenstuff pads, sounds tempting! I have seen a few and there good prices. What discs do you reckon? I was thinking about Black Diamonds? They any good?

Brembo standard OEM replacement are more than upto the job at around £65 IIRC or if you fancy something a little more racey then Brembo Max for around £100 ish.

GSF just for discs alone. Yozzasport do some brilliant fast road braking packages though.

Suspension wise, Eibachs if you plan to keep the original dampers. If not, look into a Koni spring/damper set or coilovers depending on what you want from the car and how much you want to spend.
