need head gasket fixing quick!

is there anywhere in yorkshire that will charge less than £641 for fitting a head gasket? my car is the 1.2 16v 2002 model

£300 to do the head gasket ( D4F engine ) there will be a reason why its gone though - usually a cracked head

i know a company which may be able to supply a haed gasket for cheaper. they are called ivor searle. the number is 01353 720531. i had mine blow and used them for cylinder head. good prices with people who know what they are talking about.

oh rite i c, well the electronic fault warning light keeps coming on and the car doesnt idle properly and then it cuts out. i dont have any power in 1st wen i set off but when i get going the light turns off. keeps doin this every time i get to some traffic lights.
the car smells quite abit but cant tell if its the new backbox i just put on wearin in.
where abouts in lancashire will they do it for 300.
