Need Help Choosing a Camera

Hi guys, i cant decide whether to buy a pocket camera for eg Canon SD580 or something bigger say Fuji Finepix S5700.

What do you guys recommend?

I have a s5700, great camera for the money. I think it depends on wether you need the zoom or a compact camera.

Awesome thanks for thw quick reply, im thinking about S5800, just because their is very little price between that and the s5700, and the Panasonic DMC FZ8.

im thinkin of selling my fz50 if your intrested.
with extra batteries and a few filters. and memory cards if u want um

manual zoom and focus rings, giving faster zoom, and ring manual focus when needed.
and a lot more things making it better, but bigger.
depednds whats you are after. but the fz50 is the better camera.

the panasonic fz range is awesome. Ive got the fz18, and love the pics you get out of it. I do a lot of portaits and the 18x face detection is brilliant.
