Need help! Get better sound! Air filter or exhaust?

Looking to make the clio campus sport I have sound a bit better to finish it off. Induction kit or exhaust? Or would an air filter do the job? Anyone any recommendations? Hoping they don't effect the insurance too much.and also
not sure what will fit an 06 campus?

Really not worth spending money on because small engines jist sound s**t with sporty exhausts imo!

I had a k and n 57i on my old 1.2 . didn't sound intrusive at all when driving normal, but when you put the foot down it gave off a nice roar.

Go for a cone filter mate. As Liam said, no point spending loads of money on an exhaust.

I had the K&N 57i kit on my 1.6 and that made it a lot louder on acceleration.

Or a cheap and "nasty" alternative it to cut some holes in the bottom of the air box (the bit before the filter, not after it) which will give a similar noise to the induction kit, but obviously you'll wreck your filter housing.
