need help please - just reformatted PC

Just formatted computer with XP again.

I burnt the wrong drivers to disc for my motherboard... doh!

How can i find out what drivers i need for my PC?

Also, what else do i need to do to make my computer 'normal' again?

I guess drivers for :

graphics card and soundcard and motherboard.

Anything else to sort out?

One other problem i have...

I can't seem to get the keyboard to do the 'at' symbol for email... weird...

Any help please?!?

As per the PM Seb make sure you've set the keyboard to UK layout as by default Windows sets it up with a US layout.

for the keyboard go into control panel, regional settings, then the middle tab "languages" then click the details button.

Add United Kingdom keyboard, and remove US keyboard layout, it'll then moan about not being able to uninstall the US keyboard straight away, remove it again, then click OK...

Then have a look in regional settings to make sure everything else is set to UK

Download and install a program called Everest

It'll tell you what everything is in your pc

Then just go to the relevant manfacturer's website and download the appropriate drivers.

Completely off topic....

This is actually one of the long standing gripes they fixed with the vista installer, when you select your country it selects the right layout for your country, rather than selecting US. This always annoyed me!

all done now i think, bar the new router... oh and the little issue of 10gig's worth of music to come over from the external HD... done 4 gig though.
