need help with brake shoes??

brought some new brake shoes for mk2 clio and fitted the first one. was a tight fit when you try and spin the wheel its stiff?? and the other side i cant get the drum on?? also need help adjusting the hand brake ?? thanks

The correct shoes as there's different types.
Have you slackened the adjuster off.

is the handbrake adjustment been released right off? 10mm nut next to the leaver on the n/s under the cover.
