Need the works? headlights question...

Driving along earlier I thought I'd run over a bottle, turns out the glass lense on my headlight dropped out! see picture.


Theres a breakers at the end of my road, any chance I can just get the glass and glue it down, would thjat be a bit unsafe :s do I need to replace the whole unit?


Can I legally drive around at night? just put my laster tenner in the tank lol

dont think so..

the lense is a diffuser to 'aim' the light..

if you drive round without it you will be blinding everyone.

lol, the exact same thing happened to my Mk1 ph3...even on the same side! :S

mate if you try and stick a lense over it will more than likely get moisture in it and then look nasty..get a new light unit bud

this is a common fault with these, isnt there any metal clips holding on the glass???

Both of mine are holding on for dear life as the seal is buggered and another phase 3 down my road has lost it's lense, again on the same side as your one.
