Netgear Connection Issues

think I posted this in the wrong sub forum before.

Wondering if anyone has any idea how I can fix this:

For some reason our Netgear modem won't let any new devices connect to it. The devices that are already connected work fine but my Macbook was connected but turned it on today and it just get connection timeout message on it, I've been trying constantly for 2 days and connected 3 times for about 30 seconds each time, Mum just set up her new PC and that can't connect either, but both can connect to our other network fine linksys

Don't understand.

Modem is Netgear WNDR3300

Only reason i can think of on my Netgear router is if the Acees Control is turned on it will stop unauthorised devices connecting

Wasn't that. I even tried giving mac manual ip, subnet etc then authorisng it's mac with the manual ip in the access control but still didn't help
