Network Key

I'm trying to connect my xbox up to a wireless network.

I've got all the details I need, and I know how to get to it. But I need the Network Key to continue, and I can't see it as it's blocked, like a passwork would be.

Will I be able to get it off the main computer of the wireless system?

You need to know the password to access the network, the only way I know of really is to reset your router (there should be a small button on the back you have to push with a pin) and then set up a new password and use that...

Thats ok as long as he knows the router log on and password, sounds like he didn't set it up if he doesn't know the network key?

normally the log on is admin and there is no password.

whats the make of the router, instead of guessing we can then tell you the default gateway for logging onto the router, and the default login username and password

I was trying to get the infromation off my computer, which I didn't set up. Waited for my stepdad to come in and he knew the network key because he's set up about 4 computers onto this network.
