has anyone actually picked up a 53 reg sport yet, dealer or broker - ???? mine still hasnt arrived, and im yet to see one on the roads. Its not as bad if everyone is waiting although it seems that im the only one!!!

I was supposed to be getting a Cup delivered this week, based on Renaults production of 172/Cups during the first week of September. This has production been pushed back to next week, so expect to see the new ones appearing on the roads in a week or two...Ive been told to expect mine w/c 13 October.

just to let you know, all exclusiveity in yorkshire with new 53 reg 172s is going to be shot out of the window, as motor provider are currently shipping 70 of the buggers up to sheffield as we speak(hopefully one will be mine!!)

Ordered my 53plate CUP about a month ago... told demand is high and they are built to order so not due at dealer until 22 October. Just got to wait I guess. Thought it might be only one in Hull, but have noticed a 52 plate knocking around.

I ordered my 172 53 Reg bout 2-3 weeks ago an i bin told october 20th!! an im in sheff so maybe ill get lucky an get it sooner!

Got my 53 plate 172 at 11 oclock on the 1st of Sept, it was the 2nd 172 out of the door that day...

FAO Rhys, I am down the road in doncaster, just ordered from a broker in sheffield, I would have had it by now, but there was a huge delay at customs, then once they were cleared the broker struggled to get wagons to transport them up, so any day now!!!

I ordered my 172 back in July and have a confirmed delivery date of 14th of October, so those who ordered theirs a couple of weeks ago quit moaning!!!!
