new 172 cup, creaking problem?

hello my 1st post, just got my new cup and i love, but, already there is a problem, when i give it some thru 1st and 2nd after about 4000 rpm there is a kind of creaking clicking noise iv no idea what it is, any help would be great thanks.

Check the engine mounts for play and your exhaxt for catching etc.

What he means is...do you have the standard exhaust?

The 4K rattle is a known problem on the 172s. The best way to fix it is an aftermarket exhaust fitted properly. Renault will amend it but it will return a short while after.

Park the car (once the engine is warm) open the door or window and rev the car...if you hear a 'rattle' sound, its that.
