New 182... 380 miles in 24 hours!

Hi all...

Just a quicky 182 update: 380 mies so far...

Went up the M5, M42 and M40 to coventry yesterday. Luckily it was clear, so I could play. Started gently for 20 mins, then kept accelerating and decelerating (overrun) all the way. It was a painstaking process!

First from 3-4-3-4-3k revs, then 3-5-3-5-3k revs.. Ventured upto 6k twice, and just kept varying RPM by speeding up and slowing down.

On the way back, ventured into 6k a few more times.... Im a bit worried about going further than 6k revs, so I will wait a bit longer.

No oil used, and shes picking up very well... Far better motorway acceleration than my first 182 (which was treated far too gently, and used too much oil as a result).

Well I done 469miles since October 12th 2004.. I really only use it to and from work...

Yup... Meggys sold for just under 13k. Phew!

Thats nothing....granted not in a Clio but instead in a Merc Sprinter I drove back from Milan to the Midlands (996miles) in 16hours non stop..Thats what I call a running in, and a bit of varied scenery.
