Hi There Forum,

Just popped a deposit down on a Clio 182 Trophy but there is a small problem with the car and that is one of the front coil springs has broken.

Does anyone know if these are a special spring and roughly how much these are from renault ?

Is it a straight swap over like any other car or does the sachs shocks need set up again ?

I got a fair whack off the price of the car for the coil spring being broken and i work in a garage and one of the guys said they will change it for nothing but we aint sure what is involved in teh shocks

Get eibach sportlines, there £130 odd from kam and lots of people run them on here.

I know this might sound silly but i want to try and keep things as close to standrad as possible.

If my budget allowed i would have bought OE Renault parts but at that price there is no way i can.

As i say i dont know much about Clio sports and £180 for a full set of springs that are highly reccommended on here and cliotrophy.co.uk sound like a decent buy
