New 197, want to see it???

There's event at shepton-mallet showground nr Bristol/bath called the Royal Bath and West Show and we are taking some cars form S.J Cooks down there for a display next week, and coming esecially from france is going to be a 197.... this is all i know at the moment.... watch this space...

I think when people have seen it they will have different impressions, i was surprised how much i liked it in the flesh.

saw one at Oulton Park at the BTCC early May, it was parked at the Renault enclosure, next to the new Megane (which looked the dogs boll*cks) had a look round the 197 and thought it looked a bit crap TBH :dapprove:

Noteworthy changes ...it's got a 6th gear and air intakes on the side..it looked too 'clumpy' to me....not as sleek and sporty as the 182....But hey.! Who am I to judge anyway...just my humble opinion...!!!

There are some pretty decent cars around at the Mo, but i can honestly say the 197 Clio isn`t one im excited enough about to want to go see one. I`ll check one out in my own time at some point when i can be bothered. Unlike a few other recent cars which i have made a point of going out of my way to have a look at.

Just about sums it up for me, i hope when i do see one i wet my pants, get a stiffy and a part ex quote on my 182....but i doubt it

The one at the FCS shwo is the red one I'm not to keen on the colour I was hoping the black one would be there.
Still those brakes hummm lovly.
