New back box problem

Looking at getting a new back box for my ph2 1.2. Now it's a sportex backbox and from the image i can see that it would seem to just slip on the the existing pipe, but i have looked under the car and the the pipe from the backbox goes right to the catalyser. Leaving me with the question, am i expected to cut my old back box off and fit this new one?

Before you complain about sportex, yes i am cheap ha.

Got an answer from the seller. And yes you do have to cut the old back box off to fit this one.

You do for most mate, the standard 1.2 exhausts are all one piece when new.
