new battery asking for radio code

Had a new battery today and radio is asking for a code but have no code as i have never had battery changed?

any ideas please

If its an aftermarket system chances are you wont need a code.

On a side note I have a standard Clio headunit lying about which I got off my friend. I dont have the code for it but can this be sourced anywhere i.e. with the codes on the side of the unit etc?

Yep you need the serial number off the side and you can get the codes off sites for a couple pound.

There was a thread on here with codes in will try and find it.

If you ask nicely on a thread there are a few on here that can get them.
Aftermarket units don't have codes.
