New battery?

Had to get my car jumped started today, checked it and it only has 9V and the lense is black. Should i replace it with another renault one or with another. Have found a bosch battery which is 24V but the same size, would that be suitable or any other suggestions?

NO DEFINITELY NOT 24V. Have a look around other battery shops, even Halfords. Varta, Bosch and Exide are the best ones. My Exide cost me £39 just a couple off weeks ago.

OK maybe heard him wrong, is it a 14v battery that i need?

12v battery although they normally peak around 14v
