New brakes and insurance?

im looking to put new drilled and grooved discs all round on my 172.

just checking if anyone has informed their insurance company about doing this or am i being too precautious?

Too precautious I would only inform them if you were upgrading your whole brake system.

no just upgrading form standard to discs to drilled and grooved...

I upgraded mine to 4 pots, and it didn't make any difference.
