Hi all,
just had a phone call from my dealer informing me that in order to pass inspection for my Clio, I will have to get new brakes and shockabsorbers in the rear...
Some info about the car:
Clio RS from 02/2000
My daily driver since the beginning of 2009
Currently 195000km on the odometer
Will be moved aside to weekend/fun/trackcar in a couple of months (being replaced by a BMW M (z3) Coupe
)
In that respect, what do you guys suggest?
Should I just let the dealer put on the stock parts and be done with it?
Or do you think it is worth investing some more money in better stuff if I will be using it on track shortly?
What are the options for brakes (both discs & pads), shockabsorbers (+springs) for my Clio, plus how much (approx.) would these options set me back.
The dealer's quote for fitted new brake discs is just shy of 400 EUR.
