Car failed its MOT today, need discs and pads all round, Do i stick to genuine Renault discs or is there a recommended brand that does the job well?

Not sure what pad I'm going to run yet, as i would like to do a bit of track time next year...

Any info on what you've had experience with would be a great help.

Fronts: Brembo hc disks with your pad of choice, I run ds2500's
Rears: Genuine only for me, heard too many horror stories regarding on genuine items

Get them from G172 on here. Cheap and get them next day.

Yes George is G172, a Trader on here, you can't beat him and as said, you'll get them the next day. Top man.

Another vote for getting Brembo HC discs from George, paired with the Ferodo DS2500 pads - I found them a good deal better than standard and great on road with no squeeling. Do following the bedding in proceedure!

DS2500's? Why? Brembo OEM pads are perfect for road use.

how much are standard pads?

I assume discs and pads are the same across both the PH1 172 and PH2 172/182?
