New broken trophy

Well I collected this little beauty last night from Leeds.

Currently on around 67k and has been fitted with spax tax coilovers.

Suspected snapped cambelt (it had been changed)

Plans are fit a cheep engine for the time being and start collecting parts for a turbo build

The Sachs where removed as they needed a rebuild. Unfortunately they where sold on the money put towards the spax rsx coilovers.

For £2k it's pretty unlikely. Gives the OP an opportunity to source and re-fit some, or try something a little different. Whichever route he chooses good luck to him!

No he didn't. He said the previous owner took them off because they needed refurbishing, and sold them, using the money to help fund the Spax coilovers it was purchased on.

I can't help but thinking buying a working 182 would have made more sense. Nevertheless it's not my money and it should be great with a Turbo.

Makes sence buying a cheap broken one IMO, 90% of the time, by the time you've made it perfect, it will have cost the same as a supposed good running one, but all used cars have faults.

Plus, you know more about the car having fixed it.

Anyway, I shall be following your progress, as always like this kinda stuff
