New Car Arrives In a Few Weeks.......

Well. The rents Merc is now 3 years old. So they have bought a new one.

240Bhp 2.8 V6 which does 40mpg on a motorway run lol.

So after my mum took her last one through the carwash i have given them restraining orders on washing the new car. I was hoping for some guidance on how to deal with new paintwork. Im not sure how the car will arrive as all dealerships are different.

Im thinking -

Strong wash with Snowfoam (if by then i have it)
Clay using Sonus Green
Wash again
SRP, and then add a coat of Purple Haze with it being a "dark grey" colour.

With Mrec paint now to contend with another good reason to get that Machine Polisher - Ceramiclear Paintwork - lovely

Yeah Brand new 08 plate, ill get a machine polisher, soon. Im struggling atm. Finally bought a new Powerwasher and a new shef to put my s**t on lol.

cant shed any light on the colour, other than a metallic dark grey. Ill post pics when we get it.

Not sure how good the merc prep is can't remember see any major swirls in my bosses when he collected it but it is silver.

Any swirls and you will struggle like hell on it by hand.

yeah i know. I got a glimpse of the clio in the sun yesterday, swirrled to f**k. only lught swirrling but still, 6months since its last mahine polish. jeez...

Ill get one eventually. Its just getting the cash together thats all. £5.66 an hour isnt very good for my car product addiction lol.
