New car

For £ 22.00 thought I would go for it as people say it gives a better feel to the breaks .

Think I might change the ARB for Whiteline ones with new drop links next ???

I put one on the ep3 I had, only difference I noticed was that i was £25 lighter lol. May be better on the mr2 mate

Yeah had one on my old EP3 a Teg copy one that did not do to much but this one is meant to be good so people say but we will see LOL

On the other thread mate

Was 288.00 BHP and 171 LB/FT in 2012 .

Now is 289.8 BHP and 171/LB/FT in 2014

Don't know where the 2 horses came from ( service I guess ) but im very happy with this as its still on the same boost and everything bar the intercooler .

Its only running 0.9 BAR of boost so will up this to 1.15 - 1.2 BAR and then head back down for another run in late march / April ( if you fancy coming and seeing what the Megane does )

Boost one well happy as I thought it was running just over 1.0 BAR

Yea was a good drive up and was good fun .

One last go before it closes I think is in order and would rather go there to check AFR and boost / power as he has done the car the last two times so has a data log .

Gear box oil change

Then put in the Whiteline adjustable FARB set to med with new drop links and bush .

Small update fitted my new solid gear shift bush .

Yes a much firmer shift as the old rubber ones are over 20 years old LOL

Next is Whiteline R/A/R/B and uprated rear tie rod ends below

Small update

Finished off the last few bits to improve the gear shift .

Turned the shifter cube 90 deg so it has fresh metal ( see pic of 20 years of rubbing lol )

Then last was to take apart the gear shifter and de / re grease and add some extra washers to the rubber mounts .

Old dirty grease and plate

Removed and cleaned

Back in cleaned up and with new fresh grease

Sprayed up the scuttle panel and wiper blade arms at the weekend .

This weekend I have changed the dash lights for some LED units as only x 1 bulb was working .

Few bits done over the weekend .

First off was to have a go at the cloudy rear lights

Then fitted some heat reflective wrap for my inter cooler cold pipe that runs over the top of the engine bay heating back up the cooled air from the inter cooler ( just roughly fitted this and will tidy up later after some tests )

Then a quick wash and wax to finish .

Finished off the final shifter upgrades today with some solid base shifter bush .

This is it now for the shifter upgrades that are gearbox oil change , solid bearing shifter bush , rotated shift cube , clean and re grease shift linkage and solid base shifter bush .
