New Clio 172 Owner / User

Hi all,

i am new to the forums, bought myself a 02 plate 172 sport in silver a few months ago but have not needed to use the forums until now.

My car is now due its MOT and needs a few bits done so have come on to look for advice and hopfully to be pointed in the best place to get parts for my clio.

First issue for MOT is drivers side airbag went off when the previous owner hit a kerb and as a result the airbag light is now on ....... been quoted 80 for a new airbag from renault.... can i get one cheeper or does any member have an old seat that they would sell the air bag from?

also the rear drivers side seatbelt is needing replaced

seen as the MOT is due iv parked the car up for a coupke of weeks and plan on getting timing belt and pully done as im unsure when it was last changed

any help or advice would be great ..... i plan on trying to do most of the work myself apart from timing belt etc

As said if you become a member you'll be able to see all the different Traders sections and market place. Where you will be able to get all the things you're after and see which is the nearest specialist to you to do the cambelt change for you with the proper locking tools etc that a local garage more than likely won't have

It will pay for itself in no time mate!
