New coolant / expansion bottle ... where from?

Planning to fit a new coolant bottle when I get round to changing my coolant some time.

Does anyone know the current price from Renault?

If its high does anyone who has bought one recently have a link to anywhere else? I've seen one on ebay but it looks slightly different.
 
i got one from ebay and it was wrong so got one from renault, i'll be selling it in a months time as ive bought a baileys tank, if you dont mind waiting make me an offer

Look at where the pipes are placed and the holes for the bolts, i know as i made the same mistake when i came to fit mine.

Its the same seller so he should happily change it if you pay the extra few pence of p&p difference.

I just used my original cap which looks better.

It feels exactly the same as the renault one, im sure its genuine apart from the cap, although my missisus 1.6 ph1 has the same cap as the ebay ones and hers is standard as far as i know.
 
mines a mk2 phase 1 1.6 16v if it makes a difference? just as it said all clios thought it would be the same. cant see the car till sunday to check.

Im not 100% sure mate but i think all mark 2's are the same.

The one you have ordered is the one i ordered 1st time around and when i received it, it said on the packaging, for renault megane's.

So he has listed it wrong unless i am wrong and it does fit some type of clio lol.

Ill check the gfs 1.6 mk2 ph1 tomorrow and let you know :)
 
how have you guys got on with these ebay ones? have they cracked or anything yet?
just picked one up from the guy as i live just outside leicester going to fit it soon
they arent genuine though as it didnt say renault on the packaging it had another name on it, think there just cheapo ones tbh!
bit weary about fitting it in case it fails and i lose all my coolant!
 
Personally I'd pay the extra for peace of mind. You know that if it's going to fail then it'll do it at the worst possible time.
 
Fair point.. Something like £40 from Renault though aren't they?!
tbh there's nothing wrong with mine just wanted it looking cleaner
might just try and clean it up. Any ideas how and what with?

Mine is perfectly fine, its just plastic mate, it can take abit of heat.

I used some degreaser and a brush on mine came up brill
 
the ones on ebay are off good quality, have one on mine. put the original cap on tho as the white with blue middle cap doesnt hold pressure verywell.
 
The eBay ones are exact castings of the Renault ones without badges. I used one on my supercharged clio and never had any issues.
 
Yes they're fine, EXACT copies of Renault, same thickness plastic, just use your original cap
 
Coolant changed. Although couldn't get to the bottom rad hose so just flushed it through using top one and expansion bottle. This will be fine wont it?
