Got one of these today after my DCI desided it wanted to try cut out when upto temp and idle'n.

I have got the new sensor and revised loom in the hope it fixes it as everything else is pritty much new.

Question is , the cable is long enough to reach the ecu , so where do I chop and rejoin the loom?

Anything else I need to beware of before atempting it?

P.s I'm not mechanically retarded

Cut them where it's easy to get at them to solder. Use cable ties on any excess loom to tie it out of the way

Any time I have replaced one of these sensors it's been for a starting issue, there fine when running. That's on the 1.2 16v' though.
