new delivery schedules!!!!!!!

please help, I was expecting my shiny new 172 on sep 1, I ordered it at start of aug its a new ESP model, Motor provider are blaming portsmouth customs for hold up, apparently it is there though, i have just read about the factory closure in france in august, does any one have the official line, has anyone got a 53 reg 172 or our we all going out of our mind waiting!!!!!!!!!

I ordered mine at the beginning of august and was given a delivery date of mid october....Not sure why you would get a delivery date 6 weeks earlier than anybody else placing a new order?.

i have been promised on the bible that my car is sat at portsmouth docks waiting to be passed by customs - I ordered it from motor provider at sheffield the 2nd week of august! if they are telling porkys, i dont know!!!

Me too m8.. ordered mine 8th August, delivery mid october, production of 172s not due to start until 22nd Sept.

Im guessing that your car is an import from europe somewhere then, rather than a car direct from the factory....if so its more than possible that its stuck in customs somewhere....

is that only the 172s tho? my normal dynamique is supposed to arrive around the 20th of this month and i ordered it mid august!

I ordered my Cup from a dealer on 11th July and Im still waiting. Might be here by the end of September I have been told.

I start a new job on the 29th and without a car I cant get there. So I will have to start talking tough to Renault soon!
