New Driver - First Car

Hello all!

My name is Jordan, 28 years old and live in South Wales. I recently passed my driving test back in December '18. From then, up until April of this year, I was driving my other half's 2014 Toyota Aygo.

Then came along a little beauty that I couldn't really turn my nose up at - a 2004 Clio Mk2 Phase 2, 1.2 16v (pictures below). Took her (named Rose) for a test drive around the local area and instantly fell in love with the little hatchback, consequently parted ways with £420!! No, she doesn't have a great deal of power and is stock as hell, but she's mine.

Let me know what you all think. I have since fitted some wind deflectors.

You can get the headlights polished to make them clear again, or you could just swap another set on, lol.

Still meaning to do that I tried to hand polish them but need proper gear.

The best thing i've found for headlights like that is autosol metal polish. it won't scratch it but it will take the yellowness away. make sure you don't get it on the paintwork though.

I've still got the "Clio" badge somewhere. I took it off to see how it looked, rather liked it and left it off. I'm sure it's in the boot lol

There’s a fantastic kit by 3M for polishing headlamp lenses. I’ve done the lenses on my 182 and they’re now crystal clear!
