I have one with a silver insert (cost £22 of ebay looking back i think i was kinda mad) Any way, i think it will be best to just change the insert, as I have heard you have gotta "cut" the old one off, dunno if thats right but it seems a little extreme.

nope... dont need to cut them off... just drill down the middle of them... thats all i done... and thats all nev_172 done...

Ive just bought a standard Renault valver knob and I really like it! my old one was falling off and the etching had come off but darn it I love the bugger!
