Hi all,
been a member for a few weeks, i am going to be getting a MK2 PH1 172, (just love the styling) i have been looking at all the sites, pistonheads, autotrader, ebay e.t.c.
i have found on ebay, only issue is that it is a CAD D looks like the damage is only minor, of course i would go down to look at it first before trying to get it.
Was wondering what you guys think about it being a CAT D? i think that if it checks out it would be a bargain, ok it is risky and there is nothing saying that the belts have been done but i figured that if i get it for a good price i would factor that in along with the new bodywork and springs (new coilover kit i think).
heck might even be someone’s on here (would be a plus).
but if anyone has any suggestions, advice, what to look for.. if i should stay away from it, would be most grateful.
