I see the maxogen kit is almost done, looking forward to it.

I think I've asked this before, but I really want to be sure before spending A LOT of money
First, with the Maxogen kit (a little gain, maybe 2 or 3 bhp), the ktr exhaust (8bhp gain on the dyno) and the remap which will be out soon (hopefully about 10 bhp gain) - am I too optimistic, or will this parts really work well together after the remap.

Second, let's say that the car has 194 bhp at the flywheel, will this mods get the car up to..hm.. 215 bhp ATF ? 210..whatever.. Is that also too optimistic?

Third, IF the car gets that much bhp, will I see ANY difference in 0-60 times, or mid-gears acceleration ?

Four, will the coilover kit harden up the ride a lot? I know it's adjustable, but let's say I don't lower it too much - maybe for driving around town, will it be any stiffer and harder then the standdard ride? Will the car handle better, will it corner better, is it worth almost 800 pounds?

I would be very greatfull if some kind soul answered this

i know it's a lot to expect, but k-tec said they saw 8bhp gain just with the ktr exhaust.
so ktr + maxogen + remap = at least 10 to 15 bhp?

the maxogen and the remap gotta add some bhp to the equasion, am I right?

and some torque low down ofcourse...

i've got the rs tuning remap(the one that ktr are also using on their car)
and it add 8bhp with 20 lbft low down leveling out to a steady 10 all the way through.
also got miltek exhaust with secondary cat removed which has made a big difference but not got funds to have remap tweaked or RR again since fitting it.

Hello Trile,

We do not have any prices or figures on the Maxogen yet as this is due to be tested at the end of August along with more development on the remap in an effort to give the engine the much needed low down torque. The kit on our car is a prototype ehich needs to be seen to work before the final spec is finalised. We are already running a test map on the car and it is an improvement over the standard map and we want to see if fitting the Maxogen improve things further.

We have gone from standard suspension to the H&R springs to the H&R coilovers and found the coilovers to b a very good set up. They are not as hard as just the springs and the handling is superb. Definately a worthwhile upgrade.

is it a problem for you to record video/sound of your exhaust, cause I'm worried that removing secondary cat will make it a bit louder..too loud maybe

H&R's are a supurb bit of kit. I had them on my 172 cup, and now my 182. Can't go wrong imo

dont know if its louder with cat off as cat was removed same time as exhaust was fitted.
