They sound pretty epic at full throttle. I would be skeptical about the power gain claims they are making though of course, unless comparing it to the standard setup with an old filter that is becoming restrictive of course, which is where most of the gains with these sort of products normally come from in tests, lol

im going to try get it on a set of DD rollers who has no interest at all in the clio scene as theyre evo specialists and do a back to back test as they'l be easier to get to than paul at RS tuning but when i get time il still re put it on pauls

Its a bent bit of a pipe and a cone filter, there really isnt much negative you could possibly find with something so simple TBH

Seems a smidge ironic when on your own company website it clearly states;

'We are a Small, focused and friendly specialist operation that believes in achieving the best, not making a quick buck.'

Shifting back to the product in question as you seem to have a better appreciation of its sum parts than others, would you be willing to give everyone an honest and unbiased breakdown of the individual material costs for us please?

Item by item should be fairly simple I'd imagine - from memory there's the silicone hose section, a 90 degree breather joiner, a generic foam filter, a couple of jubilee clips and a bracket right?

when you are a paying customer, with any intention of buying anything ever, I'll be remotely bothered what you think

The fact is, it's not my product I havn't made it. I'm free to sell whatever products I choose based purely on merit, and reject those I don't like, of which there are plenty. I make a reasonable margin for such a product, certainly not a big mark up though, infact I've discounted several of them for customers that have had them added to jobs, and charged no fitting time, which I think it extremely fair.

I'd been sold on the gains from this long before the pricing was ever discussed because I was there on the dyno testing prototypes, I'd also hoped it would be cheaper, but the manufacturing costs kept going up and the timescales and delays kept getting worse. It's still a pain in the arse to get the hoses made promptly now.

talk about banter, the fella who started this only wanted to know if the product was any good lol i think he can decide himself if he can afford or wants to part with the £166 they put it up for . . . im getting one fitted on my car on the 13th Nov, heard alot of good things about them and my friend has one on his 172 and i have a lil k&n pannel filter on my 182 and his will pull away from mine, oh his has been remapped too and it sounds nice ........... hope this helps

end of the day if you want to make a cheaper 1 do it.. if you don't mind spending £166.80 and want 1 buy 1... if you don't want 1 at all why bother getting so involved and worry about what other people are spending THEY'RE MONEY on dont know why a select few seem so bothered it's not your'e money at the end of the day!!!!
and pablo before you start i couldn't give a toss what's spelt wrong so actually grow up and not bother correcting everything for a change...
