New Lights

  Clio
Hi Guys,
just added some new angel eye headlights to my car and turned them on tonite but prob is the left headlight seems to shine way higher than the right, total amateur or beginner with cars so was just wondering how they may be fixed or adjusted, headlights are projector and has a motorised adjustment leveler, car is a 1.2 clio 03 mk2 ph2
any suggestions would be great
cheers

if the motor is connected to then you should be able to use the adjuster below right of the steering wheel.

if not then you'll have to use the grub screws to do it, they'll be on the headlight cluster somewhere :)

check that the clips holding the bulb in place in the projector chamber bit are straight. then you should be good to go just using the adjuster like flick said. :)

I managed to adjust them individually using an allen key, dont know if they are the correct height or anything but they are level at least. should u go a garage and get them checked?
mate said i mite have the bulbs upside down but im not sure thats possible

bulbs upside down sounds highly unlikely, best bet is to go to a garage to get them checked - will fail an mot if they are misalligned and will fail a roadside test if the coppers feel like picking on ya at any point (i.e. pulled over on a random stop and want to prosecute for something)

more importantly is that if they are misalligned you'll blind drivers coming the other way - never a good thing :)

Well did do last nite and now i think both are level but wasnt sure how high ur allowed them so just set them at a random height, dont really wanna go garage if i dont have to but will do if its essential, just dont wanna go garage and blow a tenner for some guy to twist a few screws or something stupid like that
