New Mac Mini

Apparently the new Apple Mac Mini is the same width as car stereos, and has a front loading cd slot. Would make an excellent car PC and used as a in car media centre (obviously with a screen fitted)

Now thats a wicked idea!! I love my macs and that is very sweet! just have to make a little din holder for it! only trouble would be that the harddrive would not be shock proof so may be damaged by vibrations etc

Youd be surprised at how rugged the HDD is.

The mac mini has a laptop hdd, and obviously laptop hdds have to stand up to the odd jolt.

I think it would make a good incar pc anyhow, and yeah, as its designed to me moved about as it is, youd have thought theyd have put a stronger hdd in.

yeah it would make a quality in-car pc

but i doubt the hdd would last long with the state of most of the roads in the uk
