new member 182 project

hi all. iv just signed up as i have just bought a rb 182 cup. i travelled from north scotland to london yesterday to pick it up as i couldnt find one in this colour anywhere up here. when i got there the car was in very good condition but was unwashed,un hoovered and was a bit of a tip tbh. so today i gave it a full vallet. so far iv ordered carbon dash trim,gearnob inert and steering wheel insert as mine are white and tacky. im also wanting to replace the white stripes as they have peeled a bit and the 2.0 16v badges on the doors need repainting as they are tacky white. i had a type r before this which was obviously quicker but nowhere near as fun. my main plan is throttle boddies so any tips or links would be apreciated. i only have 1 pic so far sorry

Looks tidy. How are you finding it to the Type R?

its nowhere near as quick but handles just as good if not better than my type r. i forgot to mention iv taken all the stripes of as they were getting a bit rough and i have new stripes on order. i was actually thinking about selling it for another type r today but i talked myself out of it

yeah they do look good with the stripes on got any other plans for it ?

im looking for a RB 182 but cant seem to find any in my budget

stripes are now fitted and its looking pretty sweet. im waiting on a 200 cell sports cat, a new lambda and a fancy tow hook then its going for a mot and 6 months tax. then its up for sale. what is your budget ? you can pm me if you want. the car has fsh, hpi clear. will be t&t. any inspection welcome and it wont be over priced

yep. im just not a clio man. i was looking for a type r before i bought this but i loved the colour and the handling of the clio so i had to have it but its just not me. altho i think it would be awesome with a set of throttle boddies

finally my 3/4 plate and tow hook turned up. the car will be on piston heads tomorro if anyone is interested at a resonable price i think

err I would say the clio is quicker, much lighter and will handle better !

Also just to rub it in about Honda's

did yoy know they fit an i-vtec to an Honda Jazz? :butt:
